Sprint Responds To GPS Privacy Issue

If you’re a privacy advocate, you’ll certainly be concerned about the recent issue of Sprint sharing GPS-tracking notes to authorities. whether there is any positive spin to the whole issue, it is that Sprint has been fairly open and is facing the issue head on, instead of feigning innocence and ignorance. The company has refuted the “8 million” figure which has been bandied about, and says that it isn’t the number of customers whose location data as
provided to law enforcement. In the end, regardless of the number, it’s still an invasion of privacy to many folks. Hopefully Sprint will be able to find an amicable way to resolve that issue for all parties.Permalink: Sprint Responds To GPS Privacy Issue from Ubergizmo | Hot: Palm Pixi Review
