Software Turns Webcam Into 3D Scanner
Those of you who want something cool to do with your webcam should really try out ProFORMA, which stands for Probabilistic Feature-based On-line Rapid Model Acquisition. The software was written by a team from the branch of Engineering at Cambridge University in England and will turn your bog standard webcam into a 3D scanner. All you have to do is rotate the object in front of the camera, and it’ll
