Sling Media just unveiled updated versions of its SlingPlayer Mobile for Windows Mobile Professional and Standard devices, which means both touchscreen and non-touchscreen devices will be able to take advantage of these updates. One of the main additions to that new release is increased support for screen resolutions such as 800 x 480, 640 x 480, 400 x 240 and 320 x 320. The following 15 handsets are now officially supported by Sling Media :-
- Sprint Treo 800w
- Sony Ericsson X1
- Palm Treo Pro
- Sprint HTC Touch Diamond
- Sprint HTC Touch Pro
- Verizon HTC Touch Pro
- Verizon Samsung Saga
- Verizon Samsung Omnia
- AT&T LG Incite
- AT&T HTC Fuze
- AT&T Samsung Epix
- HP iPAQ 910
- AT&T Pantech Duo
- Sprint Samsung ACE
- Verizon XV6900
Logic dictates that other devices that share the resolutions mentioned ought to be able to work with the new release.
