San Francisco could require radiation level label on phones

San Francisco, often at the forefront of revolutionary ideas, might plus stand the chance to be the first city in the US to require cellphone retailers to label their wares with the level of radiation emitted assumning the controversial proposal being discussed at the station of the Environment and endorsed by Mayor Gavin Newsom goes through. While the debate has raged on for years and years, there is still nary a restricted scientific consensus that points toward cellphones being health hazards, with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) maintaining their stand

that any handset sold legally Stateside is safe for consumer use. Well, we guess even whether that law passes through, phone sales won’t drop an iota since the cellphone has become an everyday convenience that very few are willing to give up.
