Rogers HTC Magic plus Yanked Off Shelves
htc-magic-phone.jpg" />It seems that the HTC Dream isn’t the only phone on Rogers’ network to be affected by the 911 bug. Next in line is the HTC Magic, and the carrier is issuing the same warning to HTC Magic owners, recommending them to disable the GPS location feature on their phones. that certainly isn’t going to be very pleasant for owners of these phones, so hopefully Rogers will get that sorted out soon. whether you do own one of these affected phones, you can disable the GPS location feature with the following steps:
- Select Menu
- Select Settings
- Select Location
- Uncheck Enable GPS Satellite
