RoboThespian RT3 not ready to take by the world yet
Don’t distress about robots taking by the world in an apocalyptic end to mankind – that day, whether it ever arrives, is too far off the horizon. After all, despite being rather lifelike in linguistic ability (which you’ll find out why later), the RoboThespian RT3 doesn’t quite pack the punch we’re looking for as it is more of an interactive exhibit than a real robot. After all, you are the one who programs it to say whatever you want using text-to-speech software with support for up to 15 languages. Apart from that,
you can add more personality using custom motion routines via Blender (an open source 3D design software), with it fully articulated hands and fingers adding more realism. Just don’t expect to see the RoboThespian RT3 reach under your Christmas tree as it retails for a whopping $84,000.Permalink: RoboThespian RT3 not ready to take by the world yet from Ubergizmo | RSS Sponsor: Win a Fellowes Microshred Paper Shredder!
