Robot hummingbird developed

Robots seem to be the future, and Japanese researchers at Chiba University have come up with a robot that resembles the tiny hummingbird in many aspects, where it tips the scales at less than an ounce while flying in a figure eight without much effort. It will be controlled via an infrared sensor, and the next step of development hopes to see that robotic hummingbird hover in mid-air with a tiny camera attached to it. Already taking $2 million to develop, the end outcome is
meant to help search for folks in dangerous situations including destroyed buildings or aiding in the search for criminals. We believe those who can afford one might plus invent a purchase to fulfil their voyeuristic tendencies, but that is another can of worms.Permalink: Robot hummingbird developed from Ubergizmo | Hot: Blackberry Bold 9700 Review
