Puyocon Offers Alternative Input Method

Well, whether you want something more interesting, you’ll be hoping that the Puyocon, developed by the folks by at Japan’s Tsukuba University, becomes a mass market device. The Puyocon is a small, ball-shaped, soft and wireless controller that responds to a variety of moments, such as rolling, throwing, squeezing or moving. It features 14 pressure sensors, a 3 way acceleration sensor and Bluetooth. Thanks to its sensors, it can reply to the force it’s being squeezed with, or the
amount of impact it receives from being thrown. While you probably won’t be using that at your next business meeting, it would be very suitable for children, particularly those who are growing up, offering them an intuitive input method.
