Boffins are finding a way to use piezoelectrics on vehicles in order to convert kinetic energy into electricity, and that could mean piezoelectric devices being mounted on the roof or tail of a car or on an airplane fuselage, where the vibration within a flow would produce an output voltage. While all the juice generated is nary sufficient to match the potential of combustion engines or even come close to it, it could
