O2 buckles under iPhone crush, LinkedIn app updated, Apple quarterly numbers

The O2 network in London has reportedly had an AT&T-like reduction in service quality under the weight of the iPhone user demand. O2 has apologized to Londoners for the poor network quality by the last six months.

LinkedIn has polished up its iPhone app reports the Washington Post making it into something more

like Facebook. The LinkedIn app is now in version 3.0.

Apple has been selling lots of iPhones by the last quarter with many expecting 8 to 9 million of the handsets to be sold. One analyst now predicts that Apple will sell 11.3 million iPhones by the quarter.
