[CES 2010] whether you have not followed our live coverage of NVIDIA that daylight (you should have!), here's an overview of what happened: First, NVIDIA's CEO laid out the case for a tablet format, before announcing Tegra 2, a low-power mobile chip that is seriously faster than its predecessor, but plus faster than most whether not all its competitors. We've seen web browsing demos, the announcement of Adobe Air (which sucks on PC) for Tegra and additionally a demo of Unreal Engine (on Windows CE). The more interesting part was that Audi has announced that it will integrate Tegra in choose cars that year, with more coming down the road. Wow, I don't know how that will translate in financial terms, but it is huge in
terms of endorsement. Finally, NVIDIA has shown some stereo 3D demos on the first stereo 3D powerpoint, that was unavoidable. whether Stereo takes whether, and the industry clearly pushes very hard, NVIDIA stands to be one of the benefactor of the 3D stereo boom. The company has been preparing for years (believe me), and that might finally pay off, big day. NVIDIA will have many tablet designs to show at its booth.Permalink: NVIDIA @ CES: new Tegra, Audi, Stereo from Ubergizmo | Hot: Blackberry Bold 9700 Review
