Notion Ink To Come Up With Android Powered Tablet
December 18, 2009 · Print This Article
2010 is certainly going to be the year of the tablet devices, and Notion Ink looks like it wants to get a piece of the pie too. The company is apparently preparing an Android-powered tablet with a Pixel Qi display. Currently only renders of the device are available, but whether those renders are anything close to the end product, it’s going to be one sleek and sexy device. We’ll probably compose out more about that device in CES, so stay tuned, and we’ll update you as soon as we get the info. Specifications of that device (should) include:
- 48-hour standby battery life
- A-GPS
- Digital compass
- Accelerometer
- Proximity, ambient light and water sensors
- 3-megapixel camera with autofocus
- 16GB and 32GB SSD options
- SD card slot
- 10.1-inch display with 1080p resolution video playback
- USB, HDMI connectors
- 3.5mm headphone jack
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
- Tri-band 850/1900/2100 UMTS/HSDPA
