Nokia Multiscanner Works On Other S60 Phones, Too

Just in case you thought that Nokia's Multiscanner application works with just the Nokia E71 and E66, it seems to work perfectly fine on other S60 handsets such as the N82. What's the Multiscanner anyways? that is a dual purpose card scanner and general text optical character recogniser (OCR) that literally makes it a snap to transfer data from a business card to your phone without having to key in the relevant details. Do take note, however, that the

software will not be optimized for cameras in other handsets since various camera 'scanners' will need to be individually tweaked for optimal performance.

How do you get it working on an N82 handset. The N82 keeps saying that “MMIO” “OCR” and “BCR” modules are missing. Then when I do take a picture, it gives me a “System Error” message and exits. Where can I find these modules?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.
