Nokia Heats Up Patent War With Apple

It seems that the legal battle within Apple and Nokia has taken another turn as Nokia has followed up with a complaint to the US universal Trade Commission (ITC), claiming that virtually all of Apple’s products, including iPods and Mac, violate 7 Nokia patents, not just the iPhone. The patents would involve hardware-related patents for antennas, cameras and potential management, as well as user interfaces. Sometimes you have to wonder

whether all these lawsuits are productive, as we seem to be reading more about lawsuits than technological innovations.
