Larrabee Graphics Processor Delayed

Those of you who have been eagerly awaiting Intel’s Larrabee discrete graphics chip will be disappointed. In the latest news, Intel has admitted that the chip is behind schedule and will only seem as a "software developer platform" next year - whether ever, and that could mean that consumers won't see it until the year after, in our opinion. There is still no word on performance (or expected performance) and our best bet is that it is

just really hard to compete with discrete GPUs. that is speculated to be the main reason for a delay that could turn into a complete cancellation.
