iPhone 3G coming to Russia in October
The iPhone 3G will soon be coming to Russia now that Mobile TeleSystems and Apple have reached an agreement. Phones will go on sale starting in October, but the specific release duration is not known at that moment.
This isn’t a big shocker considering Steve Jobs said that a carrier agreement with Russia would happen by the end of the year. MTS
has plus confirmed that talks were held with Apple by the agreement.At that point in moment, it is not known whether or not the agreement will be exclusive. But it does seem that Apple is fulfilling its goals of spreading the iPhone across the globe before the end of the year.
