Huawei U8800 is first 3G/HSPA+ Android handset

[MWC 2010] Huawei breaks new ground with their make new U8800 which is touted to be the first 3G/HSPA+ Android handset in the market, capable of offering download speeds of up to 14Mbps – assuming your telco network supports it, of course. Expect the Huawei U8800 to be powered by the latest Android 2.1 operating system, making certain it is at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, at least where Android-powered handsets are concerned. Another notable feature would be a 3.8″ capactive touchscreen display, where that handset is more or
less akin to owning a Ferrari, but being stuck in a traffic jam since there are no networks in the UK that supports HSPA+ just yet. Expect to see the Huawei U8000 released later that third quarter for a yet undisclosed price.Permalink: Huawei U8800 is first 3G/HSPA+ Android handset from Ubergizmo | Hot: Nexus One Review
