Gecko Surfboard packs in everything

When we say everything, we mean it in a general kind of manner, with the Gecko Surfboard cramming in a low potential x86-compatible system-on-a-chip which merges processor, graphics and memory functions in a loner device. Sipping a mere 5 watts of juice to assemble it run cooly abundant without the need for a fan (and hence allowing it to come in such a mold factor), the NohrTec Gecko Surfboard is roughly the same size as that of your regular computer keyboard. It does hold decent potential to run Windows XP, Linux or Windows CE, but bear in mind that is not meant to be a multimedia device since there is no

HDMI output and lacks the ability to handle HD video playback decently. You do get VGA output, USB ports, Ethernet, headphone and microphone connectivity, a couple of SDHC memory card slots, 512MB RAM and suitable space to slot in a 2.5″ hard drive whether you like. The Gecko Surfboard is going for $99, but you can top up that amount to include Wi-Fi connectivity.
