Garmin Introduces Upgraded Oregon GPS Devices

Garmin certainly didn’t want the exit 2009 without any fanfare, and as such, the company has introduced 2 new Oregon GPS units, the Oregon 450 and 450t, which will be replacing the older 400 models. The newer units will feature a more visible and responsive touchscreen for its navigation, a more accurate 3-axis compass, and dashboards to customize the interface, faster USB connection and improved navigation of tracks that show upcoming elevation changes. The 450t has one by the 450 as it sports added coverage to include major US trails as well as roads, parks and other info that would be useful whether you were driving or walking. Said
devices should be good for up to 16 hours on a pair of AA batteries, so whether you’re going to be on the road for towering periods of moment, be certain to prepare spares.
