FCC approves TerreStar Hybrid Cell-Sat phone

The TerreStar Hybrid Cell-Sat phone has just passed the FCC's scrutiny with flying colors, offering the potential of us seeing yet another Windows Mobile-powered handset hit the market. that smartphone will additionally bring quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual-band UMTS/HSDPA 3G radios to the masses accompanied by a 2.6" touchscreen display, a QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity as well as GPS navigation. Too poor service for that handset will be available

only sometime in Q1 2010. Guess that's the cue to start saving up for one now...
