Electronics banned on US flights?

Thanks to a crazed underwear bomber wannabe, his action has caused untold inconvenience to a multitude of folks all by the world. Apparently the US branch of Homeland protection has given the go-ahead to shield staff to be able to decide on who can use their electronics on board or not. that is pretty ironic, and the fact that electronics is picked out has yet to receive a plausible explanation. After all, reports of the incident did not point towards any style

of consumer electronics like iPods, notebooks or cellphones. Guess loading your iPod with hours of movies before your flight within the US could turn into a futle exercise.
