The world knows that Gizmodo and parent Gawker Media paid $5,000 for the iPhone HD or 4G prototype that was lost in a bar in California. Gawker head Nick Denton figures the whole thing cost him about $20,000 for the handset, bonuses, and bandwidth. The money made from the exclusive is estimated to be $200,000.

Google has stated that it plans to roll its free Google Maps Navigation feature out to other platforms. Those other platforms include the iPhone.

The Apple iPhone has captured a whopping 72% of the smartphone market in Japan. The iPhone shipped 1.69 million units in Japan for the year ending in March.
Farmville is one of those games that many society are addicted to. The company behind the game has registered several new websites including FarmVilleiPhone.com leading many to believe the game is headed to the iPhone soon.

A new battery case has debuted from MiLi called the Power Skin that has a 1200mAh battery inside. Along with the case is a new PocketPal charger with both items claiming to be the world’s smallest or thinnest.

A jailbroken iPhone has been hacked to run Android. The Android OS is said to run slowly, but it works for SMS, voice, and web surfing.

A new health care monitor that can watch a user’s heart rate, activity, and body position has cleared the FDA called the Raisin. The device connects via Bluetooth to apps on the iPhone and other smartphones.

Adobe has announced that it has stopped working on bringing Flash to the iPhone. Adobe is instead focusing on Android and other platforms, but may still sue Apple.

Over the weekend, some images of what is claimed to be the iPhone HD or 4th generation iPhone hit the web. The camera was supposedly found in a bar in San Jose California, probably left there after a clandestine meeting among Jobs and Gates on how to rule the world.
