While it seems that the previous “built-in projector for the iPad” rumor didn’t become reality, it’s still worth noting that Apple has been granted a patent for a projector related application. In the patent filing, it’s stated that a projector could not only be fit into an iPhone or MacBook, but plus other devices such as an Airport Express. Such a product would be able to operate as a router, as well as a wireless hub, getting projector video feeds from other devices by the network. that certainly seems like an interesting concept to be mass produced, after all, getting rid of cables related to projectors would manufacture setting up presentations so much easier, wouldn’t it?
