Colorsonic MP3 Player
January 30, 2009

Here's a different way to assemble you look at MP3 players in the future - the Colorsonic MP3 player will display its playlist using a choice of colors, where individual colors would represent a specific music genre. Assuming you want to play songs from more than one genre, all you need to do is choose a couple of colors from the wheel and you're good to go. The Colorsonic is currently in its project phase at the moment, featuring special software as well as a colorful website that allows public to log on and trade color rings. Designer Rhea Jeong came up with the Colorsonic concept during an internship with Samsung, and we're keeping our fingers crossed that the Korean electronics giant will react positively to that view by churning it out from manufacturing lines.

Phone Booth Is Now An Aquarium
January 30, 2009

Artists Benoit Deseille and Benedetto Bufalino decided to do something special for the Lyon Light Festival in France by turning an unused old school phone booth into an aquarium. that is pretty interesting as it lends a surreal look to the surrounding environment, and most phone booths these days are redundant due to the proliferation of cell phones in our society. What are some of the other abandoned/neglected public property that can be turned into quirky pieces of art? The only problem with these booths are you'll need to retrain the city council workers to include fish-feeding times into their daily city chores. Come to think of it, to have that beside a bus stand or train platform would be ideal as there is something therapeutic in seeing fish swim about.

Samsung Opens Door To 32GB RAM Stick
January 30, 2009

Don't you just love progress? We're extremely thrilled to compose out that Samsung has managed to find a way to cram in 32GB of DDR3 RAM into a individual stick - a far cry from what we have today. Obviously when such a piece of semiconductor wafer hits market shelves, it won't come cheap, but it will definitely go a towering way in freeing up more space in a computing device to assemble it smaller overall or hold other semiconductor parts. The 32GB possibility is the aftermath of sandwiching two 16GB modules into a individual dual-die unit, allowing one to double a singled-out stick's capacity without causing a massive change in size. No view what the average home user will do about the remaining 28GB of memory (or so) though whether they have that in their computer.
